1. Product Introduction | Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) System
The ODMS Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) System is designed to remove suspended solids, fats, oils and grease from wastewater through a flotation process. By dissolving air into pressurized water and releasing it as fine bubbles, the system attaches bubbles to suitable particles and droplets, lifting them to the water surface for skimming and separation.
Widely used in municipal and industrial wastewater treatment, DAF is particularly suitable for applications involving lightweight suspended solids, oily wastewater and coagulated or flocculated particles. Typical applications include food processing, slaughterhouses, pulp and paper production, textile processing and petrochemical wastewater treatment, subject to wastewater characteristics and process design.
The system can be configured with a flotation tank, pressurized recycle-water circuit, air dissolution and release components, skimming mechanism and chemical dosing equipment where required. ODMS equipment selection is based on wastewater flow, solids loading, oil and grease characteristics, separation objectives and available installation space.
